One year after the #endsars protest, the NigeriaPolice at Oyigbo in Rivers State have been squatting and operating from a Bar close to its station which was burnt down by hoodlums who hijacked the end SARS protest in October 2020.
Owner of the Bar, Kingsley Aniagu says he accommodated the Police at his bar not minding the risk as his quota to national peace and sexirity.
He said he has harbored many Police Officers with different rankings in his restaurant/bar at Oyigbo Local Government Area for over six months without any charges.
Kingsley Aniagu also revealed that he lost many customers as a result of having the police at his bar, he explained that many of his customers stopped coming to his bar for sit-outs and meetings for the fear of being harassed by the police
However, the bar owner says he has been in good relationship with the police and has no regrets since they became Neighbors.
Kingsley Aniagu hopes the Nigerian Police will be of help to him someday when the occasion arises.
